Hawai’i: Day Two.
26 10 2007Day Two was LOoooooOOvely. Went to the Exchange and the Commissary. It’s HUGE. It was NEVER that huge when I was growing up, haha. Afterwards, met up with Ate Aimee and Ate Lana and went to Ala Moana Beach Park for barbeque with the familia and then walked around Waikiki afterwards with the intention of leaving without spending any money. Didn’t happen at all. Made our way back to the house and just hung back.
There’s so much more in detail but…. I’ll save it for another time. Time to go be touristy!

Hawai’i: Day One.
25 10 2007For my first time back in almost ten years, I have to say that I am extremely relaxed and pleasantly surprised. Chris and I made it to Hawai’i and we’re excited to be here. From getting picked up at the airport and given leis for a proper tourist greeting to the lunch we had at Zippy’s all in the first hour or so of being back on this stinkin’ island… it was heartwarming to know that not much has changed since I’ve been gone, haha. Hung back here at my auntie’s and my uncle’s and it’s been allllll good. Attempted to make our way around the leeward side to go see the Afaga family, but we failed miserably. HOWEVER, I did remember where the outlets were, HAHAHAHA. Chris and I went out shopping for a bit and I bought mooooore shoes. That’s pretty much the highlight of the day.
Anyhow, I’m just hanging out now and am about ready to crash out. I’m just gonna watch Bleach and Cowboy Bebop and dream of the activities I shall be onto tomorrow. Goooood night.
